Relational Practice
Conflict and disagreement are part of being in relationship. They can bring up strong reactions, make it harder to hear ourselves clearly, and pull us into familiar patterns.
Relational Practice offers a space to slow things down and practice meeting those moments differently.
This work is for two or more people who want to strengthen a relationship, navigate conflict, practice boundaries, or communicate with greater clarity and honesty. Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, we pay attention to what is happening in each person and in the relationship as it unfolds.
Somatic practice gives us another way to work with relational tension. We notice sensations, impulses, emotions, and patterns as they arise, creating more room to pause, orient, and choose how we want to respond.
You don't have to override yourself to stay connected. You don't have to disconnect from someone else in order to have a boundary. We practice making room for both connection and individuality.
Much of this work happens live and experientially. We may slow down a conversation, notice what happens in the body, practice saying something differently, explore a boundary, or experiment with staying present when something feels charged.
I bring somatic and intuitive awareness, reflection, and facilitation to the space. I may notice patterns or shifts and offer them back to you, but I don't determine what they mean for you. You remain the authority on your own experience.
This isn't therapy or mediation. It's relational skill in action - an opportunity to practice communication, boundaries, repair, and connection in real time.
This work can support you in:
Staying connected to yourself during difficult conversations
Communicating clearly without abandoning yourself or overriding someone else
Recognizing your own needs, boundaries, and responses
Navigating conflict without immediately moving into defensiveness, shutdown, or escalation
Making room for both connection and individuality
Practicing repair after moments of disconnection
Developing greater choice in how you respond to relational tension
Building relationships that can hold honesty, difference, and change
The goal isn't perfect communication or conflict-free relationships. It's greater capacity to stay present, stay connected to yourself, and meet each other with more honesty and choice.
The Empress and Emperor are Tarot archetypes I return to when thinking about relationship. The Empress represents grounded care, receptivity, embodiment, and the ability to remain connected to yourself while staying open to others. The Emperor represents structure, boundaries, clarity, and the capacity to hold your ground without becoming rigid.
Together, they offer a powerful image of relational balance: staying open without losing yourself, and holding structure without becoming rigid.
These qualities can be useful when navigating conflict, practicing boundaries, and finding a way to stay connected while remaining rooted in your own experience.
The red flowers are a reminder of presence, groundedness, and vitality. I experience red as having a steady, embodied pace - warm, strong, and deliberate rather than rushed. The flowers themselves remain rooted as they reach outward.
I return to this image when thinking about relationship: staying rooted in yourself while remaining open to others. We can bring warmth and strength to our relationships without losing our center.
Red reminds us that connection doesn't require us to give up our own ground. We can be present, open, and deeply connected while remaining rooted in ourselves.

I offer sessions both virtually and outdoors in nature.
Outdoor sessions: I hold sessions outdoors at a park in Glendale. Being in nature offers a steady, grounding presence and reminds us of the energy and rhythm around us. Experiencing a session outdoors can be energizing, clarifying, and deeply restorative.

Relational Attunement work combines 1:1 sessions with relational sessions where we practice attuning to one another together. We begin with 1:1 sessions to connect with each person’s goals, needs, and intentions for the relationship. Most people gain clarity in a single session each, though some may benefit from additional time to fully orient.
From there, we move into relational sessions in sets, with each set including four relational sessions designed to deepen connection, attunement, and mutual understanding. 1:1 check-ins continue throughout the process as needed, so we can adjust our approach and make sure each person’s experience is fully integrated into the relational field.
Most people reach their relational goals in one to three sets.
Here’s an example of how a set might unfold for a couple (two participants):
Week 1: 1:1 session with each person to set goals
Week 2: 1st relational session
Week 3: 2nd relational session
Week 4: 1:1 check-ins to tune into individual progress
Week 5: 3rd relational session
Week 6: 4th relational session
Week 7: 1:1 check-ins to reflect on the set and set intentions for the next

I offer a sliding scale, following the footsteps of my teachers and the long tradition of healers across cultures and histories who served their communities. Traditionally, healers were seen as family and nurturers of the community. People offered what they could — money, food, or small gifts — reflecting both their means and intention. In the same way, your contribution reflects both your capacity and your intention to engage fully in the work.
Relational attunement sessions are offered in sets to create a deeper, shared process. A set includes individual sessions with each participant plus four relational sessions together. For two people, this typically totals six sessions.
As a guideline, the standard cost for a full set for two people is $777.77, but you are welcome to offer more or less based on what feels right. Some offer more because they can; others pay less to reflect where they are in life. No one is ever turned away. My work as a healing companion draws on these teachings to support transformation and presence.
