Masculine Like A Tree
Masculine Like a Tree
A Somatic Exploration of Trans Masculinity, Self-Acceptance, and Community
A space for men with trans experience
Many of us have been taught that masculinity is something to fear, repress, or prove. Some of us have learned to exile it, to shrink it down, or to shape it into something more acceptable. But what if masculinity—our masculinity—was something to embrace, something that could be rooted, expansive, and deeply connected?
Masculinity is not something we have to chase, prove, or defend. It already belongs to us. It is not a performance or an intellectual concept—it is something we can feel in our bodies, something that moves through us, offering resilience, steadiness, and connection.
In Masculine Like a Tree, we will explore masculinity as a healing resource, a force that longs to restore us, support us, and build the kinds of relationships and communities we crave. This group is for trans men who want to deepen their connection to themselves and each other through somatic practice, community attunement, and shared exploration of what masculinity can be.
We will reclaim the parts of ourselves that have been exiled, shamed, or conditioned to believe that masculinity is something to fear or control. Together, we will learn how to listen to our bodies, listen to each other, and tap into the deep well of wisdom that masculinity offers us.
🌳 Root into your masculinity. Grow into connection. 🌳
By integrating somatic practice with relational attunement, Masculine Like a Tree fosters personal healing and the skills to build meaningful connections long after the series ends.
What This Group Offers:
🌳 Reclaiming Exiled Masculinity – Move beyond shame and self-doubt into a grounded, embodied relationship with your masculinity.
🌳 Somatic & Relational Attunement – Learn how to listen to yourself while staying connected to others, fostering deeper relationships in your life.
🌳 Community Building – Practice showing up authentically with others in ways that feel safe, supportive, and expansive.
🌳 A Path Forward – Take these attunement skills into the world, strengthening your ability to navigate relationships with presence and self-trust.
What to Expect:
This 10-session journey will blend somatic practice, community sharing, and guided exercises to help us attune to our masculinity as a source of healing and connection.
Rooting into Our Bodies – We begin by noticing. How does masculinity live in our bodies right now? How do we relate to it? Through gentle movement and self-inquiry, we create a foundation for exploration.
Masculinity as a Healing Resource – What if masculinity is not something to fix, but something that longs to heal? We explore the idea that masculinity wants to support us, strengthen us, and bring us home to ourselves.
Belonging to Ourselves – We’ve been told many stories about what masculinity should be. Here, we untangle those narratives and begin to write our own, rooted in embodied experience rather than external expectations.
Holding Strength & Softness Together – Masculinity is often framed as rigid or forceful, but what if it is something flexible, fluid, and alive? We explore how resilience and tenderness can coexist within us.
Attunement: Listening to Our Bodies, Listening to Each Other – Attunement is the skill of deep listening. We practice tuning into ourselves and others, strengthening our capacity for authentic connection and presence. Learn to hold both your individual truth and connection to others.
Reclaiming What Was Taken – What parts of our masculinity have been hidden, dismissed, or shamed? Through movement and reflection, we invite those parts back into wholeness.
Masculinity as a Force for Community Building – What does it mean to be in relationship with other men? We explore how masculinity can be a bridge rather than a barrier, deepening our ability to support and be supported.
Expanding Our Expression – Many of us have learned to shrink or shape ourselves to fit expectations. Here, we experiment with movement and voice to expand our full range of masculine expression.
Integration: Taking It With Us – Expanding into community, embracing growth, change, and relational attunement beyond the group. How do we carry this work beyond the group? We practice anchoring our experiences so they become a lasting part of how we move through the world.
Closing Ritual: Rooted & Reaching – Like a tree, our masculinity can be both deeply rooted and always growing. We close with a ritual of gratitude, reflection, and forward movement.

Testimonials
"I didn’t realize how much I had been rejecting my masculinity or how deeply that rejection had been impacting me until I started working with Orion. I find that I love my masculinity so much more now, and I’m not afraid to say that without shame. He helped me love myself more than I ever have. I notice I no longer suck my belly in & hold my breath to make myself smaller when around others and I don’t over explain my existence, I just let myself be me and I love me. I love who I am. I think I’m pretty cool." – 1:1 Client
"I used to feel like I had to apologize for my masculinity or constantly downplay or hide it and Orion helped me see I was tiptoeing around other people’s fears and misunderstandings of masculinity. Now I see that it’s not something I need to apologize for, it’s a beautiful thing that, when I’m embodying, I’m a better man for it." – 1:1 Client
"The way I see the world and gender and myself has completely changed. I can never go back." – 1:1 Client
